Job Description

The Production Optimization Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to enhance plant efficiency, reduce changeovers, and minimize customer fill rate loss. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage the master production schedule based on demand forecasts, capacity, and material availability.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production output vs. plan and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Coordinate with material planners to ensure availability of raw materials and components.
  • Work closely with sales, operations, supply chain, and engineering teams to align plans with business goals.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, or a related field.
  • 4-5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain roles, preferably in FMCG.
  • Proven experience with MRP systems (e.g., SAP, ISCP).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
