Job Summary:

The role of a Senior Accountant involves overseeing the financial management and reporting process. Key responsibilities include preparing monthly trading accounts, commissions, and reconciliations, as well as managing discount regularization and justifications.

  • Financial Management & Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate processing of all financial documents, prepare insurance schedules, and manage reporting.
  • Manage discount regularization and justifications to optimize business performance.
  • Track payment collections, credit notes, and reconciliation of debit/credit balances to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Handle purchase targets, POs, PFIs, cost sheets, and product costing to support strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor insurance-related claims, import bills, and expense analysis to minimize losses.
Claims & Incentives:
  • Process and compile backend, price protection, and claim settlements in accordance with company policies.
  • Follow up with principals for timely claim disbursement to ensure seamless cash flow.
  • Review and validate sales team incentives to promote fairness and transparency.
Stock & Inventory Control:
  • Monitor stock and service center activities monthly to identify areas for improvement.
  • Order analysis, liquidation of obsolete stock, and reconciliation of stock counts to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
  • Coordinate with distribution and regional teams to resolve stock discrepancies and ensure smooth operations.
Collaboration & Coordination:
  • Work closely with distribution teams, service centers, and principals to foster effective communication and collaboration.
  • Partner for smooth SAN process regularization and issue resolution to drive business success.
  • Compile reports and details principles to inform strategic decisions.
Compliance & Documentation:
  • Maintain proper schedules, documents, and reconciliations to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Verify import documents, prepare insurance schedules, and manage reporting to meet statutory requirements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of all financial documents to prevent delays and penalties.
