IT Systems Administrator Role Overview

Our organization is seeking a skilled IT Systems Administrator to join our team in Lahore. As an IT Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing complex infrastructure and communication systems, supporting internal teams, and ensuring high availability across all environments.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • VoIP and Communication Systems Management
    Design, implement, and manage VoIP solutions (IP phones, SIP, IVR, ring groups). Develop and maintain comprehensive VoIP setup strategies.
  • Troubleshoot call quality and connectivity issues efficiently.
  • Administer VoIP servers and user accounts securely.
  • Deploy and manage cloud servers (Azure, Kamatera, Digital Ocean) effectively.
  • Manage production/staging servers (Windows/Linux), WHMCS, and VoIP setups proficiently.
  • Configure RAID and migrate VMs using VMware ESXi & Hyper-V successfully.
  • Server and Network Administration
    Install and maintain Windows Servers and Active Directory securely.
  • Configure Group Policies, file shares, and server security measures.
  • Monitor server health, implement backup, and disaster recovery processes.
  • Web Hosting and Application Deployment
    Deploy and manage IIS-based web applications efficiently.
  • Manage SSL, logging, and access controls for staging/production environments effectively.
  • Database and DevOps
    Manage SQL Server databases, optimize queries, and handle data recovery promptly.
  • Use TFS for builds, deployments, and collaboration seamlessly.
  • Security and Firewalls
    Configure SonicWall firewalls and implement network security policies effectively.
  • Manage antivirus, endpoint protection, and secure network access.
  • Administer AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, and CloudLinux efficiently.
  • Configure WHMCS, VitalPBX, and apply security best practices regularly.
  • End-User and IT Support
    Provide hardware/software support to onsite and remote users professionally.
  • Manage G-Suite, email systems, and network connectivity effectively.
  • Install/manage CCTV/DVR systems and biometric attendance machines securely.
  • Configure shift schedules and provide user training.
  • Server and application migrations (Linux, IIS).
  • Mult-RAID setup deployments and virtual environment upgrades.
  • SonicWall implementation with dual ISP and advanced endpoint protection.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT Systems Administration.
  • Excellent knowledge of VoIP systems, network administration, and cloud computing.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and macOS.
  • Experience with database management and development.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
