Job Description
\The role of a Quality and Patient Safety Coordinator is to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety in medical centres and home health services. This involves working closely with the management team to implement quality assurance programs, systems, and processes.
\As a Quality and Patient Safety Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

- Assisting in the operational planning of quality assurance programs, systems, and processes.\
- Liaising between medical centre operations and quality and infection prevention departments.\
- Developing, maintaining, and monitoring clinical indicators as input to Organizational Performance Perfection (OPPE) in collaboration with all medical and surgical departments.\
- Coordinating, compiling, and analyzing institutional dashboard indicators, Joint Commission International library of measures, clinical measures, managerial measures, international patient safety goals, departmental KPIs, etc.\
- Conducting and coordinating internal and external quality audits as per approval plan, compiling audit results, and ensuring execution of action plans accordingly.\
- Adopting best practices for proper and optimum utilization of existing resources.\
- Reviewing all quality documents and content timely and ensuring up-to-date authentication, including scope of services, standards of practice, medical records documents, intranet content, teaching materials, and marketing materials.\
- Ensuring all employees of medical centre operations receive required training, as appropriate.\
- Acting as facilitator in Comprehensive Unit-Based Safety programs, providing resources and facilitation for departmental quality projects.\
- Assisting in identifying development and documentation of quality projects.\
