Senior Data Architect Position

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Architect to lead our data migration initiatives using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Azure Data Engineering tools.

This role requires a technically strong, solutions-oriented professional who can design robust ETL pipelines, manage end-to-end data workflows, and ensure data quality across systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end data migration activities to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
  • Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and related Azure services.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical stakeholders to understand source systems, data entities, and mapping requirements.
  • Ensure high data quality and validation across migration phases.
  • Develop and support data integration between Dynamics 365 and external platforms or legacy systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues during and after migration efforts.
  • Document data mappings, migration logic, and integration architectures to ensure knowledge transfer.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members; foster a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, especially in data migration (minimum 2 projects).
  • Strong command over Azure Data Engineering tools including: Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL.
  • Proficiency in designing and optimizing ETL processes and data pipelines.
  • Familiarity with the Data Management Framework in Dynamics 365.
  • Excellent problem-solving, team collaboration, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Microsoft Certifications in Azure Data Engineering and/or Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments and managing DevOps pipelines.
