Product Research Specialist

We are looking for a highly analytical and resourceful individual to identify profitable products for our eCommerce business. This role involves researching and discovering new products—either as add-ons for our existing Shopify stores or entirely new niche opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify new product opportunities for our eCommerce stores.
  • Find add-on products that complement our existing Shopify stores.
  • Discover brand-new niche products with high potential for success.
  • Use data-driven research methods to validate product demand and profitability.
  • Analyse competitors and market trends to ensure we stay ahead.
  • Utilise research tools and methodologies to streamline product-hunting processes.
  • Report findings to leadership with data-backed recommendations for potential launches.

Requirements:

  • Strong eCommerce product research skills – experience in identifying trending and profitable products.
  • Understanding of eCommerce platforms and consumer demand – ability to assess what will sell.
  • Proficiency in product research tools (e.g., Google Trends, Amazon Best Sellers, TikTok trends, AliExpress, Dropshipping platforms, etc.).
  • Analytical mindset – ability to assess competition, demand, and potential margins.
  • Ability to develop and refine research methods to improve product selection accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational skills – tracking and documenting product research findings.
