Regional Field Operations Coordinator

The Regional Field Operations Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative and logistical support to the Head of Projects for the efficient functioning of Deaf Reach Satellite Schools (DRSS). This role requires a proactive approach, with travel to program sites to ensure operational effectiveness and resolve challenges independently.

  • This includes overseeing daily operations across multiple locations, managing infrastructure, procurement, basic financial tasks, staff development, and ensuring compliance with organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct surveys of proposed DRSS locations to assess suitability, infrastructure needs, and safety standards.
  2. Prepare survey reports with recommendations for the Head of Projects.
  3. Oversee setup and renovation of new school sites, ensuring timely completion.
  4. Manage ongoing operations across project locations, ensuring policy adherence.
  5. Coordinate project activities to meet deadlines and goals.
  6. Engage with communities to maintain and improve infrastructure.
  7. Support staff and manage procurement processes for supplies and equipment.
  8. Track procurement requisitions for timely and cost-effective sourcing.
  9. Maintain records of contracts, MOUs, and certifications to ensure compliance.
  10. Serve as liaison between the Head Office and DRSS sites.
  11. Collect and analyze operational data for reporting and improvements.
  12. Coordinate staff training and capacity-building workshops.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Education, Business Administration, or related field.
  2. 5+ years of experience in fieldwork, education, community engagement, or operations is advantageous.
  3. Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  4. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic data management tools.
  6. Willingness to travel frequently to project sites.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Experience with project monitoring tools or ERP systems.
  2. Knowledge of procurement, logistics, budgeting, and financial documentation.
  3. Experience working with marginalized communities or in inclusive education.
  4. Regional language skills (e.g., Sindhi, Punjabi, Pashto, Balti) are a plus.
  5. Understanding of disability inclusion and Pakistan's NGO regulations.
