Our organization is seeking a Tax Compliance Specialist to oversee the accurate processing of company taxes and compliance.

This role ensures timely tax filings, fund accounts maintenance, statutory filings, and supports statutory audits.

The ideal candidate will have a strong command of Microsoft Excel, Blackline reconciliation, and journal entries.

They should also have excellent communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with income tax regulations for employee and vendor-related deductions.
  • Prepare and submit tax returns and statutory filings (e.g., withholding statements).
  • Liaise with tax consultants and respond to notices from government bodies.
  • Issue tax certificates to employees and manage employer tax statements.
  • Manage payroll-related tax calculations, including employee income tax.
  • Ensure accurate final settlements for exiting employees, including calculations for Provident Fund, Gratuity, and Leave Encashment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of hands-on experience in tax compliance.
  • Experience managing Provident Fund, Gratuity Fund, and WPPF-related activities is essential.
  • Familiarity with tax regulations and internal control processes.
  • Certification in taxation or compliance will be an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
