Job Description:

EES is seeking an experienced Enterprise Network/Infrastructure Architect to lead digital transformation projects and develop technology roadmaps for large complex projects. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing secure network infrastructures following NIST, NERC-CIP or similar security guidelines.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead digital transformation projects as the network/infrastructure subject matter expert.
  • Develop technology roadmaps for large complex projects.
  • Manage projects using agile or scrum methodology.
  • Apply TOGAF architectural principles.
  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements.
  • Create high-level designs and bills of materials.
  • Create low-level designs for network and infrastructure projects.
  • Lead a team of senior engineers in implementing complex network and infrastructure solutions.
  • Manage project risks.
  • Collaborate with other technology domain architects.
  • Participate in technology review boards and perform technical project governance.
Key Skills and Expertise:
  • Design and implement complex Local Area Networks (Cisco, Juniper, Arista).
  • Design and implement complex Wide Area Networks (Cisco, Juniper, Arista).
  • Design and implement Software Defined Networks (SDN) (Cisco ACI, VMWare NSX-T).
  • Design and implement Software-Defined WAN Networks (SD-WAN) (Cisco SD-WAN, VMWare VeloCloud).
  • Design and implement virtual overlay network infrastructures (VMWare NSX-T).
  • Migrate networks from legacy to greenfield while minimizing downtime.
  • Design and implement Network Security solutions (Network Firewalls: Cisco, Juniper; Network/Application Load balancers: F5 LTM/GTM, Citrix NetScaler, A10).
Required Infrastructure Expertise:
  • Design and implement Storage Area networks (NetApp, Pure, EMC).
  • Design and implement Virtual infrastructures (VMWare, Hyper-V, Openstack).
  • Design and implement Public Cloud infrastructures (Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure, AWS).
  • Design and implement Hybrid Cloud Infrastructures (On-premises to Cloud Network Connectivity).
  • Design and implement containerized infrastructures (Kubernetes, Docker containers).
  • Automate deployment and maintenance of network and infrastructure solutions (Ansible, Terraform, Chef/Puppet, Python).
  • Migrate infrastructure from legacy storage or compute to greenfield while minimizing downtime.
  • Work with converged and hyperconverged platforms (Nutanix, VXRail, Cisco HCI, Cisco UCS).
