About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced National Programme Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide technical, advisory, and strategic support to achieve successful implementation of health-related programs in Pakistan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess programmatic impact and monitor programme delivery and evaluation of programmes' performance;
  • Conduct risk assessments, develop and implement risk management matrix/plans, and ensure adequate oversight and support is provided;
  • Develop and submit work plans and budgets, coordinate with M&E and PSM teams to ensure performance frameworks and PSM plans for HIV grant are realistic and achievable;
  • Liaise with all functional units of the PMU – PSM, Programme, Finance, etc. – to ensure effective coordination towards timely delivery of agreed activities;
  • Support establishment of framework and agreed procedures with SRs for regular, quality reporting to UNDP on programmatic progress;
  • Support programmatic activities for UNDP and SRs to define project proposals, reprogramming requests, annual and quarterly workplans and budgets;
  • Monitor budget closely, conduct quality analysis of performance by cost inputs and partner;
  • Support programme audits (including SRs) and investigations, and ensure timely follow up on management actions and recovery actions.
