The National Programme Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the effective implementation of the HIV grant in Pakistan. This position requires a strong understanding of public health, capacity development, and partnership management.

Main Responsibilities

">
  • ">
  • Provide technical, advisory, and strategic support to achieve successful implementation of the HIV grant;">
  • Support programmatic management for the achievement of results, including monitoring, evaluation, and reporting;">
  • Develop and implement capacity development and transition plans; and">
  • Build and maintain relationships with national and provincial partners, NGOs, CSOs, communities, donors, technical partners, and UN entities.">

Key Requirements

">
  • ">
  • Advanced university degree in Public Health or relevant related field;">
  • Minimum 7 years (with master's degree) or 9 years (with bachelor's degree) of progressively responsible relevant experience at the national or international level;">
  • Experience working with public health institutions in the area of HIV;">
  • Excellent communication, project management, and interpersonal skills;">
  • Fluency in English and Urdu is required;">
  • Knowledge of other local languages is an asset.">
