Inventory Coordinator Role

This is a challenging role that involves managing inventory levels, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring accurate documentation and tracking of inventory movements.

  1. Inventory Management: Regularly check inventory levels and product listings on vendor websites, updating stock quantities and product details as necessary.
  2. Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with vendors to resolve any discrepancies or issues with product listings.
  3. Transfer Orders: Create and process transfer orders in the inventory management system.
  4. Documentation: Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of inventory movements.
  5. Logistics Support: Coordinate with logistics teams to facilitate smooth transfers.
  6. Sale Order Processing: Generate sale orders in the e-commerce platform or ERP system based on customer purchases.
  7. Invoicing: Prepare and issue invoices for completed sales.
  8. Order Verification: Verify the accuracy of sale orders and invoices, including pricing, quantities, and customer details.
  9. Purchase Order Creation: Create purchase orders based on inventory needs and supplier agreements, submitting them for necessary approvals and tracking their status.
  10. Record Keeping: Document all sale orders and transfer orders in the inventory management system, ensuring records are organized and easily accessible.
  11. Inventory Accuracy: Update online inventory data to match physical stock levels, monitoring for inventory discrepancies and addressing them promptly.

Key Requirements: Strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a detail-oriented approach to work. Proficiency in inventory management systems and e-commerce platforms is highly desirable.
