Job Description:

The Tech Risk & Controls Lead will play a pivotal role in identifying and mitigating compliance and operational risks within the organization.

This individual will provide subject matter expertise and technical guidance to technology-aligned process owners, ensuring implemented controls are operating effectively and in compliance with regulatory, legal, and industry standards.

  • Ensure effective identification, quantification, communication, and management of technology risk
  • Develop and maintain robust relationships with various stakeholders to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and progress toward shared goals
  • Execute reporting and governance of controls, policies, issue management, and measurements, offering senior management insights into control effectiveness
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Formal Training or certification on Tech Risk & Controls and 5+ years applied experience

  • Expertise in technology risk management, information security, or related field
  • Experience in risk identification, assessment, and control evaluation, and threat modeling with a strong understanding of industry standards
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues, develop and implement risk mitigation and threat modeling strategies
  • Proficient knowledge of risk management frameworks, regulations, threat modeling methodologies, and industry best practices
