Web Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in administering, configuring, and maintaining WebSphere Application Server environments.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, upgrading, and applying WebSphere fix packs and service packs as per release schedules.
  • They will manage and configure IBM HTTP Server integration with WebSphere, perform middleware backups and restoration processes, and ensure backup integrity and compliance.
  • Our ideal candidate will set up and monitor Disaster Recovery (DR) environments for middleware applications.
  • They will manage and monitor log files, JVM performance, and middleware alerts.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with internal teams and third-party vendors are required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences / IT / Software Engineering or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in WebSphere Application Server administration.
  • Hands-on experience in IHS, DB2 administration, and associated components.
  • Experience with middleware backup and disaster recovery processes.
  • Proficient in performance tuning, patching, and version upgrades.
  • Experience with middleware log management and monitoring tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Proven experience in root cause analysis and incident reporting.
  • Strong scripting skills in Linux/AIX and exposure to automation tools.
