About This Role

In this challenging role, you will inspire and oversee a skilled engineering team within one of our large-scale factories. Your expertise will be pivotal in executing projects that enhance operational efficiency and adapt to evolving supply chain demands.

Your Responsibilities
  • Develop a forward-thinking capital investment plan aligning with a 5-year horizon for our large, dynamic site.
  • Oversee the capital investment process from initiation to fruition, ensuring project delivery is on time, within budget, and meets specifications.
  • Align with site management to provide a comprehensive view of investment plans, securing necessary resources for successful project completion.
  • Lead your team to meet project success criteria with strong adherence to timelines and budgets, and complete appraisals and close-out reports.
  • Promote continuous improvement across systems, practices, and process deliveries, encouraging a culture that values progress.
The Skills We Require
  • Proven leadership in projects and manufacturing within a similar environment, guiding teams with management acumen.
  • In-depth understanding of engineering, manufacturing processes, and project management methodologies.
  • Strong commercial insight to discern business issues and identify opportunities.
  • Proven capability in leading engineering and maintenance teams, fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Resilience under pressure and excellent communication skills, ensuring clarity and partnership across levels.
