About This Role

This role is responsible for driving technology disruption and digital transformation strategy aligned with business objectives.

The position will manage a tech applications portfolio with a focus on proactive lifecycle management and staff required to achieve this. It will act as a bridge between business requirements and developers to deliver products according to business needs.

This role will execute processes for incident, problem, service requests, and change management for the portfolio of applications managed within the allocated service line.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Develop and lead a team of tech solutions specialists for application development, day-to-day application support, compliance, governance, maintenance, lifecycle management, and planning of business applications used within their service area.
  • Collaborate with business owners/users, external product vendors, data vendors, and offshore support suppliers to set and monitor service levels and conduct service reviews.
  • Implement service improvements to reduce cost of ownership.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and test continuity plans.
  • Provide technical expertise to the tech head and tech delivery teams.
  • Design and deliver technical solutions, including new products, features, and fixes.
  • Analyze and optimize total cost of ownership of tech software assets.
  • Develop and deliver platform/product strategy.
  • Oversee CWs developers team.
  • Transform business requirements into solutions.
  • Pursue cost savings through asset consolidation and decommissioning.
  • Negotiate with vendors for new products and services.
  • Assist in budget preparation, governance, and tech procurement.
  • Drive digital innovation in customer engagement.
  • Manage cross-functional projects, especially those involving AI and IT systems.
