Search Engine Optimization Specialist

Develop and execute SEO strategies to achieve top rankings of our website on major search engines.

  • Collaborate with web designers, developers, and content writers to establish an SEO-friendly website development approach.
  • Work closely with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and programming.
  • Stay up-to-date with Search Engine Algorithm changes and implement improvements to our SEO strategy.
  • Manage daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly web analytics and ranking reports.
  • Conduct keyword analysis, research, and bidding across multiple campaigns.
  • Develop and execute a link building strategy; optimize links for search relevance and implement link building programs.
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions.
  • Provide ongoing support of all SEO initiatives including reporting, analysis, and optimization recommendations.
  • Make strategic PPC campaign recommendations and utilize bid management tools to maximize effectiveness.
  • Monitor campaign results, analyze key metrics, and optimize click-through and conversion rates.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Marketing, or Communication.
  • Minimum 5 years of search engine optimization experience; certifications are a plus.
  • In-depth experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, NetInsight, and Omniture.
  • Must have knowledge of Google Adwords and Yahoo Search Marketing.
  • Proven track record of achieving top search rankings by optimizing websites, mining Website analytics data, and keyword research.
  • Ability to compile and analyze search data and make decisions regarding campaign direction.
  • Experience with Schema Mark-Up and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Strong independent decision-making, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
