Job Summary:

TUSDEC seeks a skilled Financial Operations Director to oversee the organization's financial services group, providing guidance on accounting, treasury, audit, taxation, insurance, and special programs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing the annual plan, including the budget, and assist in budgeting/planning/implementation of development funds for technology upgradation and skill development centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall guidance to Financial Services Functions (Accounts & Finance)
  • Lead corporate and legal matters as Secretary of TUSDEC
  • Assist in Budgeting/Planning/Implementation of development funds
  • Maintain relationships with international and national financial institutions
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide advice on program viability
  • Enrichment, training, and development of the Group team
  • Liaison with the federal Government for funding and approvals
  • Implement financial rules and regulations

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and ability to interact well with people at various levels
  • Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of Governmental financial procedures

Bonus Points:

  • Previous experience in finance or accounting would be beneficial
  • Familiarity with financial software and systems would be an advantage
