Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished academic professional to lead our Department of Community Health Sciences. Key responsibilities include:

  • Curriculum Development: Design and implement comprehensive educational curricula for undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate students in Reproductive Health, ensuring alignment with the latest academic standards and practices.
  • Research Leadership: Lead the establishment of innovative research programs in Reproductive Health, secure funding through grant writing and proposals, and actively participate in ongoing research endeavors.
  • Policy Advocacy: Advocate for policies supporting reproductive and child health, engaging with policymakers and stakeholders to influence decision-making processes.
  • Community Engagement: Act as a pivotal contact for provincial and district governments, facilitating the translation of research findings into actionable strategies that improve maternal, newborn, and child health outcomes.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A degree in Public Health or a related field, preferably complemented by a FCPS/Ph.D.
  • At least 10 years of experience in teaching and research, with a proven track record of professional achievements.
  • Exceptional teaching and leadership abilities, with a strong grasp of research administration within educational settings.
  • Excellent command of verbal and written English and Urdu, with additional proficiency in local/regional languages considered a valuable asset.
