Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled educator to join our academic team as a Senior Lecturer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and conduct classes for BScN students in courses such as pharmacology, pathophysiology, nursing research, and pediatrics.
  • Develop and review teaching activities and curriculum to ensure high-quality education.
  • Apply a learner-centred approach by utilizing technology and teaching skills to facilitate effective learning.
  • Contribute to research activities and academic programs to advance knowledge and expertise.
  • Provide guidance, advice, and feedback to students to support their academic and professional growth.
  • Maintain and enhance teaching, clinical expertise, and research skills through continuous professional development.
  • Evaluate student performance through administering exams and assessing learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to prepare course materials, class schedules, and exams/papers for students.
Qualifications and Experience
  • A Master's degree in Nursing (MScN) or a BScN with an MPH and at least 4-5 years of teaching experience at the BS Nursing level is required.
  • Valid registration with the Professional Nurses Council (PNC) and publication in a recognized journal are mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
  • Clinical competence is necessary for providing sound advice and guidance to students.
