Senior Node.js Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Node.js Developer to join our dynamic development team. As a senior developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems for scalable applications.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Server-Side Development: Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and associated frameworks (e.g., Express, NestJS).
  • API Architecture: Architect and implement scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality features and improvements.
  • Application Optimization: Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Integration: Integrate third-party services, databases (SQL & NoSQL), and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.).
  • Coding Standards: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Leadership: Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote best practices in software development.
  • Security: Ensure application security, data protection, and compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications:
  • Professional Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in backend development, specifically with Node.js.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Required Skills:
  • JavaScript Proficiency: Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and asynchronous programming patterns.
  • API Design: Experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
  • Databases: Hands-on experience with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
  • Containerization: Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Version Control: Proficiency in version control tools such as Git.
  • Testing Frameworks: Experience with testing frameworks like Mocha, Jest, or Jasmine.
  • Application Security: Solid understanding of application security, authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth), and API protection techniques.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
