Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to lead our finance team. This pivotal role involves overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with IFRS, and driving strategic financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Operations Management: Manage the daily operations of the finance department, including financial accounting, reporting, and analysis.
  2. Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
  3. Financial Integrity: Ensure accuracy and integrity in financial reporting, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  4. Financial Planning: Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to support strategic decision-making.
  5. Internal Controls: Strengthen internal controls and ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements.
  6. Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize resource allocation and cost efficiency.
  7. Financial Insights: Provide financial insights to senior management and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive organizational growth.
  8. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement.
  9. Audit Execution: Ensure smooth execution of audits by liaising with internal and external auditors.
  10. Digital Transformation: Leverage SAP S/4HANA and Power BI for data-driven decision-making and digital transformation in financial processes.

Requirements:

  1. Professional Qualifications: CA, ACCA, CPA (or equivalent)
  2. Big 4 Experience: Candidates with articles from Big4 accounting firms would be preferred.
  3. IFRS Expertise: Expertise in IFRS, auditing, budgeting & forecasting, taxation, and internal controls.
  4. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP S/4HANA.
  5. Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and strategic thinking with a deep understanding of financial regulations.
  6. Ethical Financial Practices: Commitment to ethical financial practices and corporate governance.
  7. Leadership and Communication: Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams effectively.
