Job Title

We need an experienced and ambitious leader who can think architecturally, articulate a compelling long-term technical vision, develop and execute realistic implementation plans, and manage our Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a technology roadmap for building new product features for fleet & driver safety.
  • Lead the product and business outcomes of the engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams including Frontend, Product, Design, Computer Vision & Data Science to drive technical design discussions.
  • Drive the execution, launch, and daily operations of functionalities for internal/external customers at consistently high quality.
  • Develop best practices and coding standards.
  • Build, manage, and develop a diverse team of highly qualified Engineers.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors or Masters in computer science or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Software Engineering or related domains.
  • Experience working in high-throughput and low-latency systems.
  • 3+ years of experience managing 10+ engineers.
  • 5+ years experience in building high-scale distributed systems for a product company.
  • Technical depth and breadth in agile product development, distributed systems, infrastructure, cloud computing, build tools, front-end engineering, mobile, QA.
  • Ability to perform architectural work, including the development of technical designs.
  • Proven track record as a nimble and proactive thinker and doer.
  • A high degree of comfort with short release cycles.
  • Passion for continuous experimentation and learning.
  • Demonstrated success in hiring, managing, motivating, and promoting skilled Engineers.
