Financial Aid Advisor

The Financial Aid Advisor will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective delivery of the university's admissions and financial aid programs. Key responsibilities include interacting with students, responding to queries, and communicating with various departments within the university. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and management skills, as well as strong communication and analytical abilities. Additionally, they should possess knowledge of LUMS programs and be familiar with rules and regulations regarding admissions and financial aid.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interact daily with students, responding to their queries and concerns.
  • Communicate effectively with various departments within the university.
  • Counsel students on procedures and policies being followed at the Financial Aid Office.
  • Assist students with essential paperwork required for financial aid.
  • Provide students with financing options, payment plans, and estimates.
  • Review student files to ensure completion of documents and accurate funding.
  • Monitor student financial aid plans and assist with necessary changes and updates.
  • Conduct interviews with parents and students to establish their financial needs.
  • Present processed financial aid applications to the Financial Aid Committee.

Benefits:

Three years of relevant work experience significantly in an administrative role is desired.

A bachelor's or master's degree from a reputable HEC-recognized institution is required.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and management skills, as well as strong communication and analytical abilities.

They should also be familiar with rules and regulations regarding admissions and financial aid, as well as possess knowledge of LUMS programs.

Additionally, they should be able to interact effectively with students, communicate clearly with various departments, and provide excellent customer service.
