Purchase Manager Job Description

This is a mid-senior level full-time purchasing and supply chain job. The successful candidate will lead and enhance our purchasing department by developing and implementing purchasing strategies that align with company goals.

Responsibilities:
  1. Purchasing Strategies: Develop and implement purchasing strategies that drive business growth, reduce costs, and improve quality.
  2. Supplier Management: Source and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality, maintaining strong vendor relationships and managing contracts.
  3. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and forecast procurement needs to optimize stock levels.
  4. Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and market regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably in the retail industry.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
