Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our resource development efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and cultivating donors, developing strategic communications plans, and creating compelling content to promote our mission.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with corporate, institutional, and individual donors.
  • Participate in the development of a strategic communications plan with value-driven messages that highlight the impact of donor investments.
  • Serve as a lead writer and originator of compelling content for proposals, newsletters, brochures, websites, and other communications.
  • Investigate grant opportunities to support existing and new programs and services.
  • Provide substantive reports to donors regarding stewardship of their gifts and the impact of their investment.
  • Assist with the design, implementation, and management of a comprehensive development plan.
  • Support the development and improvement of information systems regarding donor and prospect data management.
  • Represent the organization at local and regional fundraising conferences and at corporate functions.
  • Formulate, determine, and effectuate fundraising strategies and donor policies and procedures.
