Job Description

Industrial Operations Supervisor

The Production and Operations Manager will oversee the production of surgical instruments, ensuring efficient operations. This includes direct coordination of activities concerning production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage staff, preparing schedules and assigning duties.
  • Review activity reports and performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement.
  • Establish policies, goals, objectives, and procedures for effective departmental management.
  • Monitor businesses and agencies to ensure efficient service provision.
  • Oversee activities related to making products or providing services.
  • Manage the movement of goods into and out of production facilities.
  • Supervise and coordinate with departments for effective performance.
  • Discuss major points, flaws, discrepancies, and take corrective action with senior management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years experience in a similar field.
  • Administration and Management: Knowledge of business principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and people resource coordination.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in operating software e.g. MS Office, Internet & Email.
  • Language Proficiency: Good command of English reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
  • Law and Government: Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations.
  • Production and Processing: Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and manufacturing techniques.
