About the Role

Our organization seeks a seasoned Supply Chain professional to spearhead and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of telecom supply chain dynamics, coupled with extensive hands-on experience in SAP, particularly with its implementation and utilization for supply chain optimization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Supply Chain Leadership: Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with our business objectives and growth plans.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Identify, evaluate, and select strategic suppliers. Manage contract, vendors' performance, and foster strong collaborative relationships to ensure timely delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness of materials and services.
  • Inventory Management: Develop and execute strategies for optimal inventory levels, forecasting demand, managing stock obsolescence, and ensuring efficient warehousing and distribution.
  • Logistics & Distribution: Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, including transportation, warehousing, and customs clearance to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of products.
  • Demand Planning & Forecasting: Collaborate with project and network planning teams to develop accurate demand forecasts and translate them into effective supply chain plans.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously analyze and improve supply chain processes, identifying bottlenecks, implementing best practices, and leveraging technology to drive operational excellence.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks, including supplier disruptions, natural disasters, and geopolitical issues. Develop contingency plans to ensure business continuity.
  • Cost Optimization: Drive cost reduction initiatives across the supply chain without compromising quality or service levels.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. A master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) are a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10-12 years of progressive experience in procurement with at least 4 years in a managerial role, preferably within the telecom industry.
  • Skill Set: Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, best practices, and industry trends. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
