Workday Analyst Role

About the Position

The People Technology Analyst will serve as a hands-on practitioner in Motive's primary global HRIS system, Workday. This role will be accountable for maintaining data quality, reinforcing data governance, managing the Workday HCM platform, assisting with project management initiatives, optimizing the platform, improving processes, and adoption rates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to outline project requirements for reports or enhancements in Workday.
  • Document solutions, create process workflows, and receive knowledge transfer from the Workday consultant.
  • Engage with the Workday community to learn about new technical functionality and provide guidance on system capability to key stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver Workday reports and training as needed.
  • Perform Workday audits to ensure accuracy, timely Manager Self Service approvals, and supervisory orgs.
  • Respond to basic questions about Workday processes, conduct tier 1 troubleshooting, and escalate issues to Workday or function lead.
  • Provide general tasks in Workday, including load data, reports, security, business processes, and add/update job codes.
Necessary Qualifications
  • A roll-up-your-sleeves attitude and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment while providing great customer service.
  • Take initiative and identify process improvements without being asked.
  • An exceptional commitment to confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information.
  • 2+ years of experience in People Operations, HRIS, or a similar role.
  • Superior written, verbal communication, and high attention to detail.
  • Enjoy working in a team, partnering with the People team and stakeholders across Motive.
  • 2+ years of Workday experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree or great HR Ops experience.
