We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to develop high-performance web applications using Python and Django. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, building, and maintaining robust, scalable web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Develop high-quality web applications using Python and Django, ensuring seamless performance and responsiveness.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and engineers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • API Implementation: Design and implement APIs to connect web applications with third-party services and databases, ensuring efficient data exchange.
  • Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough unit testing and debugging to guarantee the quality and reliability of web applications.
  • Optimization: Continuously optimize web applications for speed and efficiency while maintaining security protocols.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Stay updated with the latest technology trends and best practices in Django and web development, sharing knowledge with junior developers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in web development using Python and Django.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating them with Django applications.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM technologies.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.) and containerization (Docker) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts effectively.
