Senior QHSE Officer

The Senior QHSE Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing effective HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure compliance with group QHSE requirements, country regulations, and customer expectations.
Key Tasks:
- Ensure compliance with group QHSE requirements, country regulations, and customer expectations.
- Develop and execute emergency drill plans as per the annual drill calendar.
- Prepare and update QHSE documents required for internal and external audits, including procedures, work instructions, and records.
- Monitor performance of QHSE management system requirements and collaborate with departments to align processes.
- Elevate Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) nonconformance and develop Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA) plans.
- Host monthly QHSE meetings at the site to engage stakeholders and address concerns.
- Publish meeting minutes for all QHSE-related meetings.
- Conduct regular safety inspections as per procedure to identify potential hazards.
- Collaborate with site leadership to schedule and coordinate monthly QHSE activities.
- Develop action plans against identified risks and ensure effective implementation.
- Conduct thorough QHSE risk assessments for all key activities to minimize exposure.
- Maintain up-to-date QHSE internal communication at the site through Safety Signage, Posters, Notice Boards, and other channels.
- Report unsafe acts/conditions, near misses, incidents, and accidents to ensure prompt action.
- Precisely prepare the site for upcoming visits and audits by stakeholders.
- Inform management of site challenges to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Provide accurate data for the monthly align meeting prior to the 10th of every month.
- Record and report safety inspection and leadership site walk results as per procedure.
- Investigate QHSE incidents thoroughly to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain an updated legal register for all applicable laws and regulations on an annual basis.
- Log all QHSE-related communications accurately in the communication log.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
