Electrical Design Expert Wanted

This is a unique opportunity to lead electrical design and execution activities for industrial and oil & gas infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and reviewing electrical designs, drawings, and calculations ensuring compliance with international standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review project RFQs to ensure scope alignment with customer requirements and sales commitments.
  • Lead project design and execution activities assigning tasks to team members as needed.
  • Review engineering documentation and technical offers for compliance with project specifications.
  • Collaborate with the project planning team to develop detailed schedules and progress trackers.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for engineering and project deliverables.
  • Ensure safe and timely project execution in collaboration with site teams.
Requirements:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  • 4-6 years of experience in oil and gas, industrial, or petrochemical engineering projects.
  • Strong knowledge of international standards (IEC, ATEX, NEC) related to electrical systems.
  • Experience with electrical design and analysis software like ETAP and Dialux.
  • Effort estimation and budgeting skills are essential.
  • Design expertise in low voltage switchgear, MCCs, AC/DC UPS systems, transformer systems, power management systems, VFDs, and soft starters is required.
  • Knowledge of installation and commissioning activities is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with containerized substations and E-houses is beneficial.
  • A basic understanding of HVAC system design is necessary.
