Job Description: Senior Legal Advisor

The primary responsibility of the Senior Legal Advisor is to provide high-level legal counsel and guidance to senior management and various departments. The role requires expertise in contract law, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution.

The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background in law, preferably with an LLB or LLM degree from a reputable institution. A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant work experience is required, preferably in a financial institution or a related field.

The Senior Legal Advisor will be responsible for:

  • Drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Providing legal opinions on regulatory matters, corporate governance, and risk management.
  • Conducting due diligence on potential business partners and transactions.
  • Representing the organization in court and negotiating settlements.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry developments.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
