Job Description:

This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving strategic direction, growth, and operations of retail and enterprise business within a specific region. This includes market expansion, developing payments ecosystem, and leading teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Leadership & Vision: Develop and implement region-specific strategies aligned with goals. Identify high-potential markets and execute targeted initiatives.
  2. Team Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and support the business development teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
  3. Market Expansion & Penetration: Build a payments ecosystem with mobile wallet & Raast, increase merchant acceptance points, and onboard local distributors for supplier payments. Conduct market research to identify gaps and opportunities.
  4. Relationship Building & Stakeholder Management: Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and industry influencers. Represent at events and conferences.
  5. Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track sales performance metrics, report insights to senior management, and recommend improvements.
  6. Training & Development: Address skill gaps within teams and promote ongoing professional growth.
  7. Operational Excellence & Compliance: Ensure activities comply with standards and regulations, and streamline processes for efficiency.
