This position is responsible for ensuring quality controls at supplier premises. Ensuring quality is a crucial aspect of any business, and in this role, you will be instrumental in driving quality improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed supplier inspection visits to assess their processes and document any necessary improvements.
  • Ensure consumer safety and quality at all unit operations of suppliers by implementing robust quality control measures.
  • Verify that testing and inspection of products are conducted in accordance with signed-off specifications.
  • Maintain consistent quality results from suppliers through collaborative efforts and effective communication.
  • Identify key problematic areas within suppliers and work closely with their representatives to address these issues and ensure smooth operations.
  • Conduct root cause analyses (RCAs) of any product rejections with the supplier representative and implement corrective actions as per agreed-upon plans.
  • Provide weekly governance reports on actions taken and update relevant teams (factory quality, procurement, R&D, and GTM quality) on required improvements or support.
  • Achieve zero environmental and health incidents from suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with product specifications as reflected in PLM and verify COA and actual testing results from suppliers.
  • Evaluate post-processing, storage, and transportation procedures to guarantee safe handling and prevent cross-contamination.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science.

Minimum Experience:

  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience.

Job-related Skills:

  • Good Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) knowledge.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse operations.

Generic Skills:

  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to diffuse tensions and handle challenging situations.
