Software Program Manager - APSS Linux Android, CPU and Multimedia Technologies

This exciting opportunity offers the chance to lead a software program in the development of cutting-edge technologies for Qualcomm Snapdragon Mobile, Compute, XR/VR and Gaming.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • • Plan, develop and deliver software that spans across multiple technology areas and product segments
  • • Manage planning, development and delivery of software programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize requirements, manage dependencies and optimize schedules
  • • Establish clear plans and drive prioritization, taking into account technical understanding, risk management and stakeholder communications
  • • Develop and implement processes to streamline the development cycle, integrate multiple plans, dependencies and deliverables effectively
  • • Partner with other functional areas to establish critical processes to support disciplined product development and decision making
Required Skills & Qualifications

Domain Knowledge:

  • • Strong experience and knowledge of wireless/semiconductor technologies
  • • Familiarity with end-to-end product integration, software product development and program management in the semiconductor/wireless industry

Experience:

  • • 15-18 years of experience in a combination of software product development and program management
  • • Experience managing software products through entire development life cycle
  • • Experience with 3rd party OS SW Program Management/development

Educational Background:

  • • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering or related field
  • • Master's degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Business Administration preferred

Minimum Qualifications:

  • • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
  • • 4+ years of program management or related work experience
