Job Title: Strategic Financial Director

The ideal candidate for this role will possess a strong understanding of strategic financial planning and execution, with experience in driving business growth through effective financial management.

They will work closely with senior leadership and stakeholders to provide insightful recommendations and ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to drive business performance and profitability.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to all relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and reporting requirements across various jurisdictions.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Treasury Management: Manage cash flow, working capital, and risk management strategies to enhance financial stability and liquidity.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Process Improvement: Evaluate and implement financial systems, tools, and processes to streamline operations, enhance productivity, and support scalable growth.
Qualifications and Experience:

Education: ACCA, CIMA, CA. A minimum of 15 years of experience as a Finance Manager or equivalent role, with a strong background in accounting and reporting.

Technical Expertise:
  • Knowledge of financial and accounting software applications, including JD Edwards and MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
  • Hands-on knowledge of relevant statutory laws and regulations.
