Job Title: Senior Financial Expert

Overview

We are seeking an experienced financial professional with a strong background in accounting and excellent analytical skills. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various financial software and possess the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy.

Responsibilities
  • Input sales and expense invoices; enter data into financial software.
  • Record Clients' bookkeeping in Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage, ensuring accuracy and identifying errors.
  • File clients' financial records and documentation through Virtual Cabinet.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations for clients using Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.
  • Complete VAT returns and verify the accuracy of related bank transactions.
  • Prepare yearly client accounts, including cash flow statements, profit & loss accounts, and balance sheets.
  • Prepare monthly or quarterly management accounts for clients (as per agreed scope).
  • Process clients' payroll, including expense claims and auto-enrolment for pensions.
  • Support the team with ad-hoc client-related tasks.
  • Prepare and post journals into the system.

  • Strong mathematical skills for accurate record-keeping.
  • Administrative skills for maintaining financial records.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, and financial software (Microsoft Office, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage).
  • Excellent multi-tasking and organisational skills to meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills for client and internal communication.
