Area Manager - Billing

This is a leadership role that requires experience in accounts or finance. The ideal candidate will have an MBA and at least 4 years of experience in the field.

Candidates with experience working in utility companies are preferred as they bring valuable insights to the table.

  • The Area Manager will be responsible for managing a team of billing specialists in various areas, developing and implementing billing plans, monitoring key performance indicators, recruiting and training new team members, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and legal requirements.

About this role:

This is a challenging position that requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be able to develop and implement effective billing strategies, manage budgets, and ensure seamless communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide leadership and direction to the billing team in the respective areas.
  2. Develop and implement billing plans to meet revenue targets and enhance efficiency.
  3. Monitor and analyze key billing performance indicators and take corrective actions to ensure consistent achievement of revenue and operational targets.
  4. Recruit, train, and mentor team members at junior level, including Territory Managers and other field staff.
  5. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate seamlessly with internal and external stakeholders.
