Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Backend Architect to lead the design and development of large-scale web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java or Node.js and a passion for software development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining database schemas, writing reusable and modular code, and integrating it with other systems and applications. This includes collaborating with front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to build scalable and maintainable solutions.

As a Backend Architect, you will have the opportunity to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will also be expected to analyze and recommend new procedures and techniques to improve the supported systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop backend services, APIs, and databases that support EHR system and Healthcare IT applications.
  • Review the development and coding of Java programs and systems, ensuring appropriate documentation is utilized in information systems projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in backend development and Healthcare IT.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in backend development, with strong experience in Java or Node.js.
  • Strong understanding of data security and privacy regulations such as HIPAA.
  • Experience with FHIR is highly preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
