Database Management Director

The salary for this role is competitive and based on experience.

• This senior-level position involves leading a team of IT professionals, including Database Administrators, Systems Engineers, Programmer Analysts, Coordinators, Support teams, and Trainees. Key responsibilities include providing technical guidance, overseeing Continuing Professional Education, and coordinating procurement for technical resources.
• You will analyze access, information, and security requirements, design system infrastructure, and plan the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of server hardware, software, and operating systems.
• Maintaining system performance through monitoring, analysis, and performance tuning is crucial in this role. You will also design and run system load/stress tests, escalate application issues to the development team or vendor, and secure system access.
• Scheduling system maintenance, supervising team performance, and developing Quality Indicators (QI) and Policies & Procedures (P&P) are essential duties.
• Additionally, you will communicate with vendors regarding customer support, product evaluation, and licensing, project resource requirements, and report regularly on project progress and outcomes.
