Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled travel specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in creating new flight bookings on Sabre, other booking systems, airline portals, and consolidators.

The successful candidate will utilize their hands-on expertise to identify cost-effective airfares, employ geographical knowledge, and leverage tools such as Bargain Finder for optimal results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Sabre and other relevant software applications to create new flight bookings and secure optimal fares and itineraries
  • Employ expert geographical knowledge to identify cost-effective airfares and leverage tools like Bargain Finder for optimal results
  • Execute manual reissues and manage refund procedures with precision
  • Demonstrate exceptional typing speed and communication skills to assist customers via online chat and provide timely support
  • Proactively manage queues, liaise with airlines, and coordinate schedule changes to optimize travel arrangements for clients
  • Navigate between different Passenger Name Record (PNR) Control Centers (PCCs) seamlessly
  • Apply advanced knowledge of ticketing procedures, including adding promo, tour, and account codes
  • Investigate and mitigate fraudulent bookings to ensure transaction integrity
  • Facilitate the addition of ancillary services to bookings, such as extra baggage and meal requests

Requirements:

  • Extensive hands-on experience in ticketing and fare construction within the travel industry
  • Proficiency in Sabre, Bargain Finder, and other relevant software applications
  • Strong understanding of airline operations, geographical nuances, and industry best practices
  • Exceptional communication skills for efficient customer support
  • Proven ability to manage queues, liaise with airlines, and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
