Job Title: Application Security Intern

Are you looking for a career that involves identifying and fixing security vulnerabilities in web and mobile applications? We are seeking an entry-level team member to join our Information Security Governance team.

This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in securing applications through real-world testing, learning about secure development practices, and working closely with developers and security teams to improve overall security posture.

  • Assist in performing penetration testing on internal applications (mobile & web)
  • Support the team in static application security testing (SAST) and dynamic application security testing (DAST)
  • Help conduct vulnerability assessments and code reviews
  • Coordinate with development teams to explain security findings and understand how to fix them

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A strong interest in application security, ethical hacking, or secure software development
  • Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, APIs, HTTP, etc.)
  • Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and common application security vulnerabilities
  • Exposure to web and/or mobile application development is a plus
  • Comfortable with using or learning tools like Burp Suite, MobSF, Frida
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good presentation and report writing skills
  • Strong willingness to learn and explore security concepts
