As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. You will oversee financial transactions, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our financial processes.

Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Financial Statement Analysis: Conduct regular analyses of financial statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Tax Compliance: Stay updated with income tax and sales tax regulations, ensuring all financial activities comply with current laws and filing requirements.
  • ERP Management: Utilise QuickBooks ERP for accurate posting of financial entries and maintenance of the general ledger.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance financial procedures and implement best practices to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and product, to support financial decision-making and strategic planning.

What we're looking for:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of professional accounting experience, preferably within the fintech or technology sector.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks ERP and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of income tax and sales tax regulations in Pakistan.
