We are seeking a skilled Automation Specialist to join our team. As an Automation Specialist, you will provide technical support and solutions to customers in the field, utilizing your problem-solving skills and knowledge of automation systems.

About the Role

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, troubleshooting complex issues, and working closely with customers to understand their business challenges. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional technical support, evaluating and upgrading existing systems, and developing and deploying automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide technical liaison services, delivering exceptional technical support to our customer base. This includes providing on-site technical assistance, conducting site evaluations, and implementing process improvements.

  2. Evaluate and upgrade existing automation systems to improve performance and reliability. This involves assessing system functionality, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending upgrades or modifications.

  3. Understand customer needs and tailor our automation solutions to meet their business challenges. This requires strong communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.

  4. Execute support plans and optimize operations on-site. This includes conducting site assessments, implementing process improvements, and providing training to customers on new automation systems.

  5. Develop and deploy small to mid-sized automation solutions across industries. This involves designing and implementing custom automation systems, as well as providing ongoing support and maintenance.

  6. Analyze installed systems, identify improvement areas, and document solutions and outcomes. This requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

  7. Provide incident and problem resolution via both remote and on-site interventions. This includes troubleshooting complex technical issues, developing and implementing corrective actions, and providing ongoing support to customers.

  8. Collaborate with internal teams (sales, tech support, engineering) for seamless service delivery. This requires strong communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

  9. Travel nationwide to provide hands-on support and implementation. This involves visiting customer sites, conducting site evaluations, and implementing process improvements.
