This role involves overseeing the planning, design, and content development of the Urdu curriculum, resources, and teaching support materials for primary grades at an organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of developers and designers in creating curricula for Urdu language instruction, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Provide feedback on the design and development of instructional materials to content writers and graphic designers, promoting high-quality outputs.
  • Employ a curriculum framework as a guiding document for all design and development efforts, making adjustments as needed based on research findings.
  • Evaluate the current syllabus for Urdu language instruction through needs assessments, observing classrooms, conducting focus group sessions, and seeking feedback from experienced educators.
  • Develop engaging, student-centric resources for Urdu language instruction based on best practices from the local context, including original characters, scenarios, narratives, and stories.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers to determine an overarching theme for the instructional materials, incorporating original characters, scenarios, narratives, and stories.
  • Create innovative e-learning content to improve teacher content knowledge and promote effective instructional practices.
  • Investigate and implement novel modes of instructional delivery and pedagogical practices to enhance concept transfer among diverse learners.
  • Develop lesson plans for teachers based on effective best practices, ensuring seamless implementation.
  • Establish and maintain connections with students and teachers, understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Pilot test sample lessons with students and utilize feedback for continuous improvement of content prior to its rollout to schools.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with various departments on projects related to curriculum development, syllabi, student learning outcomes, testing, and similar activities.
