Key Roles and Responsibilities

As a seasoned Project Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day execution of research projects. This involves coordinating timelines and deliverables, as well as tracking progress using project management tools.

  • Supervise project staff and provide regular supervision, coaching, and performance feedback;
  • Design and implement standard operating procedures for project execution and administrative workflows;
  • Conduct internal quality checks and audits to ensure complete and compliant project documentation;
  • Compile and submit regular reports for internal tracking and external stakeholders or funders;
  • Lead strategic planning, proposal development, and event organization;
  • Oversee budgeting, financial tracking, and reporting related to project grants;
  • Suggest improvements to project processes and procedures;
  • Maintain open communication with internal teams, external partners, donors, and public health stakeholders;

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Policy & Management, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or Health Economics;
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in healthcare, preferably in public health, health data science, or related fields;
  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating or managing research projects;
  • Prior experience working with grants, budgeting, compliance, or donor reporting will be considered an asset;
  • Strong team management skills, excellent organizational and time management abilities, and good understanding of public health and data science.
