The Accounts Payable Manager position oversees the entire accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, expense claims, and payments. This role demands strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve payment-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Review, verify, and process vendor invoices and employee expense claims in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors, suppliers, and service providers.

Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.

Maintain accurate records and documentation for auditing and compliance purposes.

Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date.

Assist with month-end closing, including preparation of AP reports and schedules.

Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding invoice/payment status and resolve any queries.

Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and internal controls.

Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Assist with improvements in AP processes and systems to enhance efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

ACCA / Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.

2–4 years of experience in Accounts Payable or similar finance role.

Strong knowledge of accounts payable principles, practices, and regulations.

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a shared services environment or multinational company.

Knowledge of automated AP systems or ERP systems.
