Frontend Developer Position

We are looking for a highly skilled Frontend Developer to join our team.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in front-end web development, testing and deployment.

They will work closely with designers to build user-friendly experiences for customers and end-users.

In addition, they will collaborate with a passionate engineering team to integrate with the backend stack.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and delivering reusable and efficient front-end components.

They will also participate in code review and ensure that all code is clean, maintainable, and follows security best practices.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement front-end features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  2. Work with designers to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
  3. Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end features with server-side logic.
  4. Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code.
  5. Ensure all code is testable, maintainable, and follows security best practices.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of SDLC principles.
  • Experience with front-end CSS frameworks (Bootstrap/Foundation).
  • Proficiency in responsive layouts and cross-screen performance.
  • Familiarity with W3C and WCAG Standards.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL.
  • Understanding of current best practices for building accessible and maintainable user interfaces.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Strong concepts of object-oriented, functional, logic and imperative programming.
