Job Title: Healthcare Backend Developer

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Healthcare Backend Developer to join our team.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing scalable, secure, and maintainable backend services, APIs, and databases that support our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system and healthcare IT applications.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build high-quality solutions that meet business needs.
  • Design and develop large-scale web applications with a strong focus on security, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Create and maintain database schemas and design database queries to efficiently retrieve data from MongoDB.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure code quality through continuous integration and deployment.
  • Have experience in developing XML/JSON-based web services and sound API design principles.
  • Design and develop backend services, APIs, and databases that support the EHR system and healthcare IT applications.
  • Review and ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations such as HIPAA.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in backend development, with strong experience in Java or Node.js.
  • Strong experience in database design and development with MongoDB, with experience with PostgreSQL a plus.
  • Strong understanding of data security and privacy regulations such as HIPAA.
  • Experience with FHIR is highly preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
